Speaker 1:

Alright. Well, I'm glad you guys had a new year's. You know, I was excited to come to the house of the Lord. Were y'all guys excited to be here? Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Are y'all just saying that because y'all know the right answer to say? No. Yeah. Yes. We got some honest people here though.

Speaker 1:

I love that. Alright. You know, I was really, really looking forward to giving you all guys a message. I really wanted to, like, have, you know, like, a New Year's message, like, hurrah, we're gonna do things, and then the Lord kind of switched it into a message, where I'm like, Lord, are you sure that you want to do this? And so bear with me, guys.

Speaker 1:

I'm a pray, because I want to make sure what comes out comes out the right way. Alright? So let me pray real quick. Father God, I just thank you, Lord, Let every word come out of my mouth be of you and not of me. I put myself aside and I let you use me, Father God, to talk to your students, to walk to your disciples.

Speaker 1:

And I thank you, Lord, for your love and your guidance and your protection and your correction. I thank you that your hand is upon us right now, Lord. And we just are ready to receive. And I thank you, Lord, that you give me give me bonus to speak your word as I ought to. In Jesus name.

Speaker 1:

Amen. Amen. All right. With that being said if you have your Bibles, who have your Bibles here? What Bibles Bibles, you know, I'll let you use your phone today.

Speaker 1:

If you have your phone, I'll let you use your physical your phone Bible. But, if I see you guys on it texting someone you're not supposed to or getting phone calls, loud because I just want to know too. All right. If you're interrupting God, it must be that important, you know. So here we go.

Speaker 1:

If you have your Bibles, please go to Proverbs 1324. There's a reason why I'm taking you all guys here. All right. Guys here. Alright.

Speaker 1:

Those who spare the rod of discipline hates their child. Those who love their child care enough to discipline them. I will I I am a, survivor of the the. My mom and dad love me very well. Right?

Speaker 1:

It is because of their discipline I am the person that I am today. Can anyone say amen? Amen. Okay. With With that being said, me as your youth pastor, there is times where I have to correct and discipline.

Speaker 1:

It may seem like out that hurts. He's probably out to get me, but actually, I am doing it out of love. So what am I saying today, I want you guys to take it out of love and not out of a, wow, Pastor Alex really doesn't like us. Okay? I'm saying this out of love forever.

Speaker 1:

I just wanna we have scripture here. I'm saying it out of love. I'm not saying it because I want to I'm saying it because I love you so much, I want to correct you from where you're going. Yeah. All right?

Speaker 1:

It's a big difference. I mean, if Allison, my daughter, if she walked into the street, if I'm like, oh, keep going. No. I would be like, Allison, get out of the street. What are you doing?

Speaker 1:

You know, that that's called love. Right? Yeah. Alright. So that being said, let's get in today's message.

Speaker 1:

Alright. If you could go to Proverbs 30:12. And when you're there, say hallelujah. Wow. That was quick.

Speaker 1:

Hallelujah. Alright. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

Speaker 1:

Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Praise ye the Lord.

Speaker 1:

There we go. Alright. Sorry. That's like Allison's song was in my head. Okay.

Speaker 1:

This is what it says. There is a generation that is pure in its own eyes, yet is not washed from its tilting. Woah. That's that's gnarly to say. Right?

Speaker 1:

So how can someone know they're still dirty? If they really believe that they are clean, how can they know that they're dirty? It's like, if I fully believe that ice cream is the best thing you can eat if you are diabetic, is that true? But I fully believe it. You can't tell me otherwise.

Speaker 1:

In my mind, I am fully convinced that's it. But y'all guys know that I am in the wrong. Right? So today, we're gonna do a little thing. We're gonna be biblical about it.

Speaker 1:

So let's go to 2nd Corinthian 13 5. Sorry, guys. It's gonna be a lot of scriptures today. I'm just gonna give you a heads up for that. Alright.

Speaker 1:

I'm just gonna give you a heads up. So get your pens ready. I'm gonna try to say it the right way if you're taking notes. So 2nd Corinthians 13 5 in the message. Alright.

Speaker 1:

It says this, Test yourself to make sure you are solid in your faith. Don't drift along taking everything for granted, giving yourself regardless give yourself regular checkups. You need to, you need first hand evidence, not merely hate hearsay that Jesus is in you. Test it out. And if you fail the test, do something about it.

Speaker 1:

So really, what we're going to do tonight is we're going to chess ourself. We're going to check ourself. We're going to use the word to check what's really inside of us. Okay? And if you failed the test, I love what it says.

Speaker 1:

Do something about it. Don't just be like, oh, I failed the test. Who in here wants to go to who in here wants a driver's license? License? Did you take a test to get that driver's license?

Speaker 1:

Did you study to take that test? Some of them, maybe. Driver's license. Right? And if you failed that test to get in a driver's license, what do you do?

Speaker 1:

You take it again. Why? Because you're determined that I'm gonna get it. It's the same way that we gotta be with our faith. If we fell in an area with our faith, we don't just give that up, but we take it again with a stronger results.

Speaker 1:

We give back into the word and study ourselves to be approved. That's good. Okay. Let's get really, really I know that's like the opening of the opening of the opening. But now, let's dive into it.

Speaker 1:

Tonight, we're gonna test our faith. Okay? Alright. Let's do this. Matthew 7/21.

Speaker 1:

I have been studying Matthew 7. It's like my bible just goes there by automatically, if you know what I'm talking about. Alright. Here we go. Matthew 27 verse 21.

Speaker 1:

Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my father, my will of father who is in heaven, prophesy in your name and cast out demons in your name? We did mighty works in your name. And then I will declare to them, I never knew you. Depart from me. You are workers of lawlessness.

Speaker 1:

So tonight, we're gonna check. There's 2 veins here. There's 2 people in this passage of scripture. There's people who are fully saved, that are gonna enter into the kingdom of heaven. Because it says, Lord, Lord, didn't we do this?

Speaker 1:

Didn't we do that? So there's 2 ditches that we have here, right? And I want us to never be in that place of look at scriptures and we're going to break it down here, okay? Stay with me, guys. Stay with me.

Speaker 1:

First question is, how is the person saved? Talk back, church. Come on. How is the person saved? Believe in your heart.

Speaker 1:

Faith. What else we got? Confess with your mouth. Anything else? Declare him your Declare that he's your Lord and savior.

Speaker 1:

These are all right answers. There's no wrong answers, guys. These are all right. Y'all Alright. So y'all are all right.

Speaker 1:

When I say how do you get saved? What's the first general scripture that everyone thinks about? John 3 16. John 3 16. Let's go to John 3 16.

Speaker 1:

Hallelujah. Hey, y'all guys are nailing it tonight. John 316. Alright. What up, John?

Speaker 1:

By the way, like, like Dylan said, make sure y'all guys are going on that fast with us. It's I enjoyed it so much. I have learned more things and I love how Jesus is just a savage to all the Pharisees. I love how he talks to them. It's so funny to me.

Speaker 1:

Alright. Here we go. John 316. What does it say? Everyone read it with me.

Speaker 1:

For God so loved the world that he gave his only son and that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life. Okay. Y'all were right. Believe. Confess, say that he's your Lord and savior.

Speaker 1:

Y'all are right. Alright. So believing is part. Listen to this. Believing is part of salvation.

Speaker 1:

It's not the whole salvation, but it is part of the salvation. Stay with me, guys. I'm feel like some of you guys are like, what what does that mean? Let me take you. Let's go to let's go to, yeah.

Speaker 1:

James 2/19. It says, you believe that God is 1. Good for you. That is a good thing that you believe God is 1. Even the demons believe that and they shutter.

Speaker 1:

Hold up. Hold up. Hold up. Hold up. Wait.

Speaker 1:

Wait. Wait. We just said that to go to heaven and be saved is that you have to believe in God. Does that mean demons are saved? So what makes us different from the demons?

Speaker 1:

Faith. Anyone else? Action. That's the word I was looking for too. There is a big difference from being just believing that you're saved and having action that backs up that belief.

Speaker 1:

There's a huge difference. And I'm a tell you, because we're already in James. Right? I never went to James because I couldn't find it in my bible. I'm a be straight honest.

Speaker 1:

Let me go. Hold on. I bought with scholars. Is it after Hebrews. Right?

Speaker 1:

That's what I thought. Alright. Here we go. I'm gonna read this to y'all guys. Stay with me.

Speaker 1:

Okay? Stay with me on this. It might be a long passage. Thomas, I didn't put it up there for you, but it's gonna be James 214. And we're just gonna read throughout the thing.

Speaker 1:

It the it might look different up there because it's a different translation, but this is what mine says. That it what good is it, my brother? If someone says they have faith but does not have work, can that faith save him? Can it save him? Listen up.

Speaker 1:

If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food and one says to them, go in peace, be warm and filled without giving them things they need for their body, what good is that? So also, faith by itself, if it does not have works, is what? Woah. Woah. Okay.

Speaker 1:

Hold on. Let's talk about this. Salvation. Let's go I'm gonna say it again. Here we go.

Speaker 1:

There's other scriptures. Here we go. Ready? I'm gonna go down a little bit further. For as a body is apart for the spirit, so also face apart from works is dead.

Speaker 1:

It's dead. Believing in God is only halfway to your true salvation. See, we believe that we say this magical formula prayer that, Lord, I welcome you in my life that you are my God and I believe that I am going to heaven. I thank you for dying on the cross. In Jesus name, amen.

Speaker 1:

Yet we never changed from our old life. We never got rid of the idols that we had in front of him. We never truly gave our life to him. We just said a prayer that we believe that's how we get in. Confess with mouth.

Speaker 1:

Yes, you do believe, but there's more to it. What do I say? Let's go to James 122. What does it say here? But be doers of the words and not hearers, deceiving yourself.

Speaker 1:

You know how you deceive yourself By just being hearers of the word. By just coming to church Sundays and Wednesdays and hearing to the pastors pastors preach, just hearing what they say, saying amen when everyone else says amen. Look up, making sure no one's looking at your texting, and doing all the right things. Make sure you're serving because your mom and dad brought you to church to serve. Hey.

Speaker 1:

I'm doing what everyone wants me to do. No. You're literally just hearers of the words, but not truly doers of the word. There's a big difference here. And if you are just hearers of the word, then you are deceiving yourself believing that when you get to that gate, he's gonna say, welcome in.

Speaker 1:

You never did anything I wanted you to do, but welcome in. That's not what it's gonna go down. Listen. I'm preaching biblical stuff here. I'm not throwing anything out that's not that I have not.

Speaker 1:

This is all in the bible here. And I wanted y'all guys to see this. Sort of like this. Me and Azenoe are married, right? Azenoe are married.

Speaker 1:

On the day we got married, they asked me, the priest asked me, do you, Alex, take as an l to be your bride? And I said, I do. Best day of my life. And I said, I do. Now however, what if I said I do, but as soon as I got married, I went to go and flirt with some other girls.

Speaker 1:

I went and kept talking to other girls. I never really deleted any of the other girls' messages on my phone, or numbers on my phone. No matter what I wanted, I just always went out late, always tried to flirt with other girls, always tried to talk to other girls, always tried to impress other girls rather than her. In my heart, am I truly married to as a no? I believe I mean, I said I do.

Speaker 1:

I said what everyone wanted me to say, but in my heart, am I really married to her? Likewise, there is many of us who say, lord, I do. You have my heart, lord. You have my heart. But yet, most of us are still flirting with the world, doing what they wanna do, hasn't got rid of the idols when he's like, hey, you said you're married to me.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. But I love this more, god. If I would do that to one thing would happen. Now, y'all guys will never see me again. Because I took to the shooting ring one time, and she shot that target twice in the head.

Speaker 1:

So there's a fear of But I would never do that because also I have the fear of the Lord. I would never ever do that. I wouldn't even think about that. Right? But a lot of us treat God like that.

Speaker 1:

And we believe that we're saved, that we believe we're married, that we're going to get saved because we said a formula prayer. Can I tell you something about that? Let's go to Titus 116. This is what it says. They profess to know God, but they deny him by their works.

Speaker 1:

And it tells you how they live, right underneath it. Disobedient, unfit for any good works. I know you guys like, this is like a rough message here, but I want you guys to see this. This is in the bible. This is in the Americas, like, we as Americans, as American church has kind of forgot what he said.

Speaker 1:

Make disciples. It never said, go and convert as many as you can. I'm here to make disciples. And with discipling comes discipline and correction. So we need to correct the way we think and view how we really are in his kingdom.

Speaker 1:

Because I don't want y'all guys to get to the gate, and be like, Lord, I didn't know. No. I'm a teach you the whole truth and the full truth of it. So they denied him by their works. Let's go back to Matthew 723.

Speaker 1:

Say amen, guys. Say amen. We are alive today. Say amen. Say there's still time.

Speaker 1:

Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. Don't get don't don't get hard on me now, guys. Come on. Stay soft for the Lord.

Speaker 1:

Here we go. All right. Here we go. 20 Yep. Here we go.

Speaker 1:

This is what it says on 23. And then I declared to them, I never knew you. Depart from me, you workers of lawlessness. See, where there's 2 ditches that we were in. Have you ever seen like 2 ditches on the side of the road?

Speaker 1:

Like, there's a ditch here, and there's another ditch on that side of the road? You know, in like, in the 1950s, the ditch over here was law. Like, we have like things had to be like, girls had to wear skirts, girls couldn't wear makeup, girl had to have long hair. Like, it was law. Everything was so much law.

Speaker 1:

But then in 19 seventies, Jesus revolution came out. Y'all guys know that movie. And then we found out that, you know what? Our heavenly father loves us. And it took us out of that ditch, out of that law, but we took it so far now that we're in the ditch of lawlessness.

Speaker 1:

We have fell in this ditch. And what's lawlessness? It's I could do whatever I want because Jesus loves me. I know that whatever I do, he's going to forgive me for it. So I could keep sinning, and I could keep sinning.

Speaker 1:

Even though I know it's wrong, I'll just use grace to cover it up. That's called lawlessness. And can I can I tell you something about that that mindset real quick? Just so you have you're aware about this. In Hebrews 1026, this is what it says.

Speaker 1:

Throw it up there if you can. There it is. For if we sin willfully, meaning, if you know that you're sinning on purpose after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there is no longer remains a sacrifice for that sin. That means that's gonna be on judgement. It literally the next verse says that they will be on judgement day.

Speaker 1:

Because you were sinning willfully. You were sinning and being willing to sin. Knowing that you have, access to not sin, knowing that you have the grace to not sin, knowing that you have the power to overcome that sin, yet you still chose it. So therefore, there's no longer a sacrifice for that because Jesus already did that sacrifice for you. But yet, you still reject it and kept doing it.

Speaker 1:

Now, I'm not saying if you messed up one time in your life, you're like, oh, no. Like, that's gonna be able to No. No. This is someone who's doing it on purpose. This is someone who does it, like, man, I don't care what the I'm going to do what I want.

Speaker 1:

That's lawlessness. So if we're not supposed to do lawlessness, what what works are we really supposed to do? Know, faith without what? Is what? So that means we have to work, right?

Speaker 1:

Yes. So what is the work that we have to do to complete the true salvation of us? Well, I'm glad you guys asked. Let's get into it. Here we go.

Speaker 1:

Jesus said to them, my food is to do the will of the father who sent me and to finish whose work? His. Alright. Come on, everyone. Alright.

Speaker 1:

We call it read together. Whose work? His work. Okay. His work.

Speaker 1:

Let's go to John, 94. Throw it out there. I must work the works of him who sent me while it's still day. The night is coming when there no one can work. Basically saying, I need to keep working while there's still time here on this earth to finish his work.

Speaker 1:

I don't stop until he comes and picks me out of here. So I I have work to do. All of us here who are said the salvation prayer, you have work to do. You don't just get a get out of hell free card. You signed your life up to be in the army of the Lord.

Speaker 1:

You signed your life up and said, Lord, I give you my whole life. Alright. He's expecting it. It's kind of like, if I went to go get a job at Chick Fil A, was all my Chick Fil A people at? Yeah.

Speaker 1:

What? Okay. So all my Chick Fil A. It's like, if I got a job at Chick Fil A, and I got hired on to work at Chick fil A, and I never showed up for the job, would I ever get paid? No.

Speaker 1:

Would I ever get any benefits that it has for me? Would I ever I mean, I can say that I have a job. I have a job. I have a job. But do I really have a job?

Speaker 1:

Because after a few weeks, they probably like get me out of their roster. So let's be aware that we have a job to do. All right? John 17, 4. Glorified you on the earth.

Speaker 1:

I have finished the work which you have given me to do. We will finish the work that we have to do. What is our slogan here at Heritage? Making winners. I love that, Catherine.

Speaker 1:

That was amazing. I asked I asked, hey, Catherine just went I was like, okay. That's a good answer. Yes. We're making winners in life.

Speaker 1:

We are making winners in life. We need to have that mindset of no matter what, I'm a get the work done the work done. God has called each and every one of us to have a job to get the job done, And that's the whole part of your salvation. When you get that Lord, what do you okay. Let me go back to Matthew.

Speaker 1:

Matthew 7. How do you know if someone's a Christian or a true believer? How do you know someone's a Christian or a true believer? Is it is it the way they they dress in the it's a Christian t shirt. Is it where is it the way that they, talk?

Speaker 1:

Is it the way that they is it because their parents are pastors and leaders in the church? Is it because they go to a Christian school? Is it because they listen to Christian music? Is that what makes them Christian? What makes them Christian?

Speaker 1:

The way they act and carry themselves. The way they act and carry themselves. Can I say it in another way? The way their fruit is produced. What fruit are they producing?

Speaker 1:

Because if you're still producing the fruit of the world, can I question have you really committed to God? Because in John 6 in John 15, it says, he who abides in me and does not bear fruit So I hold on. Let's think about this. You could be in God and not bear fruit. Disobedient.

Speaker 1:

Not because he's not using you. Not because there's no power on it. It's because your lack of letting him be used through you. And what does he say? That branch gets cut off and thrown into the bush, and then it, eventually, gets light on fire.

Speaker 1:

Likewise, were that person deceived because they believe that they were connected no matter what? It says in Matthew 720, thus they will recognize you by your fruit. What fruits are we producing? Are we producing the fruits of lawlessness, but we can just do whatever we want and God God's gonna forgive us? Are we producing the fruits of the spirit?

Speaker 1:

Boy, it sure is quiet tonight. Can I tell you guys a stat? In March 2022, Barna, they did a study, and here's the study. They conducted a study of American Christian for from 20 or from 2000 to 2022, and they found 20,000,000 self proclaimed Christians have abandoned their faith. That's 1 out of 10 Christians.

Speaker 1:

They have abandoned these were people these weren't, first time comers. These weren't people that would, you know, like, Christian holidays, and they only show up on the holidays when there's, like, Mother Days. No. These were people that were in the church, and that they were serving in the church, yet they got up and walked away from this life. They got away and they walked.

Speaker 1:

And you know what's crazy? Most of them now, some I would say the majority of them are now proclaiming atheists, are now proclaiming it's better to be a witch. It's better to do it this way because there's more results. They're Now, they're not just quiet, but they're talking about the other for the other side now. And I was asking God.

Speaker 1:

I was like, God, what happened here? I was like, how could someone who is in the word, in in the faith, like, how can they walk away? 've been. Let's go to 24. I don't think is it up there?

Speaker 1:

Did I give that to you? Yes. Everyone then who hears the word of mine and what? And what? Sounds like work, right?

Speaker 1:

Okay. We'll be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And when the rain fell, the flood came, the winds blew and beat on the house, but it did not fall because it has been founded on the rock. Now, here's here's the thing. And everyone who hears my words of mine and does not do them.

Speaker 1:

Hold on. What did James 122 say? Be doers of the words and not hearers. What? Deceiving.

Speaker 1:

Deceiving yourself. Can so can you say these people were deceived? Yes. That they thought they were building on a solid ground, when in reality, they were building on a a foundation that was shaking? Yeah.

Speaker 1:

They were like fools who built their house on a sand, and what happened? And the rain fell, and the flood came, and the wind blew, and it beat against the house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it. He said, Alex, the reason why many have walked away is because they never fully really built their foundation on me. They were deceived thinking that, oh, just because they come to church, just because they served, that's all it was. Listen, God wants to know you, each and every one of you intimately.

Speaker 1:

He wants to know and get to know who you are. He wants to show you. I love this. I'm getting ahead of myself because this is for next week, but he has a book written out before you were born. Lucas, before you were born, before you were even a form of any kind, he wrote a book about you, wrote all your days in it, knew exactly what's going to happen, what you're going to wear, what you're going to do, what haircut you're going to get, knew everything about it, and put it that there, and he's like, okay.

Speaker 1:

That's the book I have for him. He knew everything about your life. He knew everything about your life. And our one job is to seek him, so we know what do you want us to do in that book? Who believe God has the best interest in their life?

Speaker 1:

Who believe like, no matter what God does, he has the best for your life? Okay. Only half of you. That's cool. The other half, that's alright.

Speaker 1:

We'll we'll get there. Want to know what that book has in there? Wouldn't you want to know, like, all the promises and blessings that he wrote that book about you has? The bible says those who diligently, not just Sundays and Wednesdays, but those who diligently seek the Lord. This is why we're the church is doing the fast because we are laying ourself down because we want to know, Lord, what is what is in that book and what do you want me to do to be a part of that?

Speaker 1:

This is why we're laying ourself down. Those who diligently seek him, he will reveal to them the mysteries of his will. Not them wills of Alex. My wills, I don't care. Like, Lord, I don't care.

Speaker 1:

Whatever let your will be done. He was so great, so perfect. But you know, the cool thing is, you know, he's a great man. He's a great man. He's a great man.

Speaker 1:

He's a great man. He's a great man. He's a great man. Right? Man, he was so great, so perfect.

Speaker 1:

But you know, the cool thing is, we could we are just like him. We have the same capabilities to live like him. We have the same strength to live like him, the same power to live like him because he's given us access to it. But the real question is, are we willing to lay our lives down? Salvation is more than just a prayer, but it's also an action.

Speaker 1:

It's not enough to say that I'm just married to as you know. I prove it day in when I tell everyone that I'm married to her. When I when I don't flirt with other girls. When I don't let girls come up to me. When I don't let anyone else When I introduce her, I say my wife.

Speaker 1:

I don't say my friend. It's an action that I do. Likewise, we should be the same with Christ. There's an action that we have to take to say this is my lord and savior. And what action is that?

Speaker 1:

Lord, what do you want me to do? Lord, what do you want me to do today? I want to give you a sneak peek of what I do in my prayer time. I come to my I come to God and I love it because I envision him. Every time I come in, I come in and I kneel before him because I'm kneeling before his throne.

Speaker 1:

And I always say this, Lord, I lay my life down and I pick up your will today. What is it that you want me to do? That's something that I confess because I never want to miss it. When I get done with this life here on earth, I want to hear, well done my good and faithful servant. You are faithful and little.

Speaker 1:

I'll make you rulers over much. That is the end goal. So tonight, I just wanted to check yourself. Check your heart tonight. You know, close your eyes.

Speaker 1:

We're going to do this. Who in here after hearing this word would say that they are fully saved in Christ? Okay. We got a couple of hands. Alright.

Speaker 1:

Who in here after hearing this message would say, you know what, Alex? I haven't been doing the work. Raise your hand. Holy Spirit's in this place tonight. You can put your hands down.

Speaker 1:

Y'all look up. The beautiful thing right now about correction is he doesn't correct you when there's not time left. He corrects you when you still have time. If that was you that raised your hand saying, you know, I I haven't been doing the work that he's doing. I I thought all I had to do was be saved was to say a prayer, but now I know that there's action behind it.

Speaker 1:

Come to the altar. Don't be ashamed. I was there. I got corrected too. You can kneel if you want to kneel.

Speaker 1:

There's no shame. I kneel all the time. I kneel before my king. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord.

Speaker 1:

See this year 2025, the Lord's been telling me just to teach the kingdom. And I believe tonight is the first step of kingdom. Is about foundation. There's a lot of foundations that we thought that we were building our foundation on the Lord, but really we weren't. But praise the Lord for mercy and grace.

Speaker 1:

Right? Everyone who came up to the front, I don't want to say, Lord. I want you to do this. I'm not gonna say a prayer that leads you. I want you, you yourself, to repent to the Lord.

Speaker 1:

Now repent isn't a bad thing. I repent to the Lord every day. I repent for times that I missed, I repent for things that I did. It's not a bad thing. It's literally you correcting yourself and getting back in line with them.

Speaker 1:

So I don't know what you've been doing in your life. I don't know your life that well, but the Lord does. So we're gonna take this moment, maybe 5 minutes, just to really lay your life down and say, Lord, I apologize that I haven't been doing your work and been doing mine. But tonight I declare that I will do your work. I will do your work.

Speaker 1:

So just take a moment. We're gonna take a moment real quick. If you need to if you need to disperse, if you need to go into a private place because you want to talk to him, God, I gotta make sure no one's hearing you, go ahead and do that. I don't want anyone to feel uncomfortable because of other people around. This is between you and God.

Speaker 1:

Again, this is not a oh, because everyone else is doing it. It's not because God wants a true heart of repentance tonight. Because we're we're going in 2025, we need our foundation to be strong. Thank you, father. We're just gonna worship.
